ENVIRONMENT

1. Dry Waste Collection Drive

  • Task: Manage collection points and coordinate gathering of dry waste.
  • When: First Sunday of every month
  • Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
  • Locations: Dombivli and Thane (Select your preferred location)
  • Next Step: We will share the respective month's poster with interested volunteers to confirm participation.

AWARENESS

2. Shop-to-Shop Plastic Awareness

  • Task: Visit local shops in Dombivli & Thane with the Urjaa poster.
  • Goal: Educate shopkeepers and customers about plastic reduction.
  • Location: Various commercial localities across Dombivli and Thane.

GREEN INITIATIVE

3. School Tree Plantation

  • Task: Participate in planting trees to green our campus spaces.
  • Locations: Nearby schools in Dombivli, Kalyan, and Thane.

4. Urjaa Awareness Rallies

  • Task: March with us and raise your voice for the environment.
  • Goal: Participate in all upcoming Urjaa community awareness rallies.

5. School & Society Sensitisation

  • Task: Conduct awareness sessions on dry waste management.
  • Goal: Coordinate with housing societies for combined tree plantation and waste drives.
  • Target: Students and residential societies.

6. School Teaching Program

  • Task: Teach academic subjects or life skills to students.
  • Locations: Schools in Wada, Palghar, Dombivli, Kalyan, and Thane.
